While the Arts flourish every season in
Williamsburg, those September days immediately following Labor Day
and into early October are set aside for a period when the Arts
truly take center stage.
The visiting summer families have
returned home for the beginning of another school years. The
first hints of fall with a gentle breeze announcing the promise of
full-colored leaves soon to come stirs the hearts of artists and art
lovers alike. It's a quiet time. A time to enjoy the
creative artistry of local and visiting artisans.

Located on the Yorktown waterfront between Buckner and
Ballard Streets. This market is free and features
fresh produce, meat, crafts, baked goods, live musical

Busch Gardens Live Concert Series - Neil Sedaka
September 3 - 4, 7 pm
Busch Gardens is the place to be
this summer for concert with performances from some of the
most recognizable names in pop, rock and classic oldies.

Virginia Symphony Concert
September 3, 6 - 9:30 pm
Pack a picnic supper, bring a lawn chair or blanket, and
enjoy the performance under a canopy of stars.

"Rhythms on the Riverwalk" Concert Series
September 9, 16, 23, & 30, October 7, 6:30 - 8:30 pm
We've stepped things up a bit, literally! This
year's concert series features three Fridays of toe tappin'
jazz followed by two Fridays of knee slappin' country.
Get your toes tappin' to fantastic sounds during this
five-week concert series. Bring lawn chairs and
blankets for seating. At Riverwalk Landing in

The U.S. Air Force Heritage of America Band
September 17, 7 pm
The Heritage of America Band, Colonial Williamsburg and
Merchants Square will also collaborate for the third annual
Constitution Day concert on September 17. Concert is
free and will run from 7:00 - 8:15 pm. On Merchants
